Pure Garden Zen: A 60-Second St. Paul Spring Soil & Compost Reset

I made this 60-second timelapse of me prepping the garden bed ahead of planting the veggies.

First I used a garden weasel to break up the existing soil a bit. I had already weeded the garden bed a day earlier so the base was good and clear. I then added the fresh dirt for this season, by using a combination of my own compost and the compost I grabbed from the Frank and Sims Yard Waste Collection Site, and adding a couple of bags of topsoil.

Using an old school garden rake to push the fresh soil around, I spread the dirt throughout the garden before blending it again with the garden weasel.

I'll be raking it daily to keep blending the soils together up until I plant all the vegetables. More to come!
