This Massive St. Paul Raspberry Bush is Taking Over & Almost Ready for Harvest!

Raspberry season is upon us!

I've been blessed with ultimate lazy gardener’s dream: a massive, native raspberry bush. I didn't plant it, I don't fertilize it, and I barely maintain it—unless you count hacking it back so it doesn't swallow the rest of the garden bed whole!

This beast is just days away from some serious berry production. Each year I harvest dozens of ounces over the course of 4-6 weeks.

Who doesn't want free, delicious raspberries with minimal effort? That’s what I call a very good problem to have here on St. Paul's East Side!
